The Raven is an original Method & Moonlight design inspired by gothic storytelling, mysterious old objects, and the particular beauty of things that feel as though they may have a story of their own.

Created from layered basswood, the piece features a richly engraved raven composition with recessed details, a hand-finished golden key, and a tiny touch of white at the raven’s eye. The entire piece is painted in deep black before engraving, allowing the natural wood to emerge through the design and create a dramatic, almost antique etched effect.

Each Raven is laser engraved, cut, painted, assembled, detailed, and sealed by hand in our New Hampshire workshop.
